Kailangan pa rin ng bivalent vaccines ng mga Pilipino kahit pa bumababa na ang COVID-19 cases sa bansa.

Ito ayon kay Infectious Diseases Expert Dr. Rontgen Solante ay dahil base sa mga pag-aaral, malaking proteksyon ang iniaalok ng bagong henerasyon na ito ng bakuna laban sa mga mutation o mga bagong sub-variant ng COVID-19.

Bukod dito, nariyan rin aniya ang posibilidad na kapag mababa ang kaso ng COVID-19, magiging kumpiyansa ang publiko.

Sa briefing ng Laging Handa, sinabi ng eksperto na hindi ito maaaring mangyari, lalo at nananatili pa rin ang banta ng virus, at hindi pa rin naman natatapos ang pandemic emergency response ng World Health Organization (WHO).
