Iba’t ibang programa ng Marcos Administration, nakatanggap ng suporta mula sa isang Indonesian billionaire

Tinanggap ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang one million Singaporean dollars o P41.6 million, mula sa Indonesian billionaire na si Dato’ Sri Tahir, para sa Pilipinas.

Ayon kay Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil, sa naging courtesy call ni Dato’ Tahir, nagpahayag rin ito ng suporta sa social welfare, murang pabahay, at healthcare programs ng pamahalaan.

Ipinabatid ng pangulo kay Tahir ang kasalukuyang social welfare program ng gobyerno para sa mga kabataan o street children, at nakatatanda.

Binanggit rin ng Pangulo ang agresibong housing program ng administrasyon.

“That is a very important part of our agenda. It causes so many social problems if we don’t have available housing. It’s very hard for people to be productive if they do not have their own home,” he stressed.

Pagbibigay diin ng Pangulo, ang pinaka layunin ng pamahalaan ay mailagay sa magandang sitwasyon ang mga Pilipino, at hindi maging dependent ang mga ito sa gobyerno.

Sinabi naman ni Pangulong Marcos, kakausapin niya ang mga kinauukulang tanggapan ng pamahalaan, upang tumulong sa pagbuo sa mga proposal kaugnay sa pina-planong pamumuhunan sa bansa.
