Nagpaabot ng pakikidalamhati si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa naiwang pamilya at malalapit sa buhay ng aktres na si Gloria Romero na isa sa mga haligi ng Philippine cinema.
Sa mensahe ng Pangulo, sinabi nito na nakilala niya si Romero noong filming ng Iginuhit ng Tadhana.
Mula noon, naging taga-hanga na aniya siya ng talento at trabaho ng aktres.

Sabi ng Pangulong Marcos, hindi lamang basta isang aktres si Romero, bagkus, isang mabuting indibidwal, at tiyak na hindi ito makakalimutan ng Philippine cinema at entertainment industry.
