Hinimok ni Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian ang lahat ng cinema at movie house owners at operators sa lungsod na sundin ang mga ordinansang nagbibigay ng libreng panonood ng sine sa mga residenteng PWDs at senior citizens.

Ginawa ng alkalde ang pahayag matapos na makarating ang isang sumbong mula sa isang PWD na hindi pinayagan ng isang sinehan na makanood ng libre.

Ayon sa alkalde, malinaw na nakasaad sa City Ordinance no. 636 series of 2019 at Ordinance  no. 159 series of 2014 na kasama ang libreng panonood ng sine sa pribilehiyo ng PWDs at senior citizen sa lungsod.

Giit nito, ang hindi pagsunod sa naturang mga ordinansa ay may karampatang multa at may posibilidad pang makulong.  | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
