Bukas pa rin ang pamahalaan na makipagdiyalogo sa transport groups sa harap ng pinaplanong week long transport strike ng mga ito, kontra modernization program ng mga pampublikong sasakyan.

Pahayag ito ni Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Technical Division Chief Joel Bolano, makaraang hindi harapin ni Manibela President Mar Valbuena ang pag-uusap sana nila ni Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, kahapon (February 28).

Sa briefing ng Laging Handa, sinabi ng opisyal na patuloy ang ginagawang paraan ng LTFRB at Department of Transportation (DOTr), upang makausap ang transport groups.

Sakali aniyang matuloy ang tigil-pasada, kung saan sinasabing nasa 40,000 tradisyunal na jeep at UV ang sasama, ayon sa opisyal, biberipikahin pa nila ang datos na ito.

Base kasi sa kanilang tala, nasa 61 percent na ng mga jeep ang naka-comply na sa programa, habang 72 percent naman ang sa UV express.
