Hinikayat ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang mga nasa linya ng cable television gayundin ang telecommunication companies na makipag-partner sa pamahalaan.

Sa gitna na din ito ng isinusulong ng kanyang administrasyon na digitalization initiatives, MSMEs expansion, at pagtatatag ng information and communications technologies sa mga malayong lugar sa bansa.

Sa naging talumpati ng pangulo sa 23rd International Cable Congress and Exhibit of the Federation of International Cable Television and Telecommunications Association of the Philippines o FICTAP, inihayag ng Presidente na sa inaasam na malakas na ekonomiya, kailangang tulungan ang mga small to medium scale industries gamit ang digital platforms nang sa gayon ay mapaunlad pang lalo ang mga serbisyo nito at koneksiyon sa consumers.

Sa panig naman ng pamahalaan ay sinabi ng Pangulo, na may mga inisyatibo ng ginawa gaya ng National Broadband Program, Free WiFi for All Program, ang Luzon Bypass Infrastructure, at ang pagtatatag ng Passive Telecommunications Tower Infrastructure Sites at Iba pa.

Kasabay nito ay nanawagan din ang Pangulo sa cable at telecommunications sector gayundin sa Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), na ipagpatuloy ang pag-align ng kanilang plano at programa para mapaunlad pa ang access ng publiko sa information and communications technology. | ulat ni Alvin Baltazar
