Nagsagwa ang Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) ng hybrid forum na may temang β€œJapanese Green Eco-Friendly Ship Technology Hybrid Forum.” Layon nito na i-promote at ipakilala sa mga kumpanya ang maritime eco-friendly na equipment.

Ang forum ay dinaluhan ng Japanese delegation at Embassy of Japan in the Philippines First Secretary Mr. Hiroyuki Kudo, maging ng mga opisyales ng Kawasaki Heavy Industries.

Isinagawa ang forum sa pamamagitan ng Shipyards Regulation Service (SRS) at ng Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) sa pagitan ng Japan Marine Science Inc. (JMSI).

Ayon kay MARINA Deputy Administrator for Planning Ms. Sonia Malaluan, kailangan ang pagpapalawak ng kalakalan at ugnayang pang-negosyo sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at iba pang bansa.

Pananatilihin aniya nito ang pagbangon ng ekonomiya habang pinapahusay ang mga programang tutugon sa iba’t ibang isyu mula sa iba’t ibang sektor na kinabibilangan ng maritime industry.
