Mga barko ng Philippine Navy, nagpakitang pwersa sa karagatan ng Zambales

Nagtipon-tipon ang mga barko ng Philippine Navy sa karagatan ng Capones Island, San Antonio, Zambales kahapon sa pagbubukas ng “sea phase” ng “Exercise Pagbubuklod 2023”.

Kabilang sa mga barkong lumahok sa pagsasanay ang mga bagong missile-frigate na BRP Jose Rizal (FF150) at BRP Antonio Luna (FF151); landing dock BRP Tarlac (LD601); fast attack interdiction craft (FAIC) BRP Lolinato To-ong (PG902) at BRP Gener Tinangag (PG903); at patrol vessel BRP Valentin Diaz (PS177) at BRP Ladislao Diwa (PS178).

Kasama din sa ehersisyo ang mga missile-capable multi-purpose attack craft (MPAC) ng Boat Attack Division; at Maritime Unmanned Aerial Reconnaissance Squadron (MUARS) Flight Bravo ng Naval Air Wing.

Nagsanay ang mga ito sa Electronic Warfare (EW) Operations, Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Surveillance and Reconnaissance, Air Defense Exercise, Surface Warfare Exercise (SURFEX), High Value Unit (HVU) Protection, Swarm Tactics, Littoral Operations, at komunikasyon.

Layon ng pagsasanay na mapahusay ang kasanayan ng Navy personnel sa mga bagong kagamitan at maiangat ang kapabilidad ng Philippine Fleet na tumugon sa mga tradisyunal at non-traditional na hamon. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
