Ito ay kung hindi sila titigil sa pagkuha ng litrato ng mga naimbitahang kaanak ng sinasabing biktima ng extra judicial killings sa ilalim ng anti-illegal drug war na ipinatupad ng nakaraang administrasyon.

Dismayado si Abante nang malaman na kinukunan ng litrato ang pamilya ng mga biktima.

“Meron tayo dyan mga biktima sa labas. And I was told that there are some police people who are taking pictures [of] them,” sabi ni Abante.

Kasabay nito ay pinagbawalan din ni Abante ang mga pulis na kumuha ng litrato at sinabi na irespeto dapat nila ang komite.

“If they (police) do not want to be held in contempt… I do not want anyone taking pictures of anybody, if you are not members of the media. I am prohibiting any police officers to take pictures of these victims. Respect this Committee,” diin ni Abante.

Inatasan naman ng committee chair na maglaan ng hiwalay na holding room para sa mga biktima at kanilang pamilya na una nang humarap sa komite nitong Martes.

Siniguro din ni Abante sa mga pamilya ang kanilang kaligtasan at seguridad.| ulat ni Kathleen Forbes
