The most anticipated first Ramadan Bazaar officially opens to public in Quezon City Memorial Circle, Quezon City. The said bazaar was organized by National Commission on Muslim Filipinos or NCMF through its Bureau of Muslim Economic Affairs division and was realized through the office of Quezon City Mayor Josefina “Joy” Belmonte.
The bazaar aims to promote MSMEs and Halal Entrepreneurs to raise halal awareness for the consumers especially to non-Muslims during the month of Ramadan.
Bangsamoro Affairs Office led by General Jameel Haymalin of LGU Quezon City graced the event together with Blessed Movement of Bagong Pilipinas Head Quarters and Sultan Faizal Benaning Bansao from the Halal Board. NCMF also thanked its twelve (12) accredited Halal Certifying Bodies for the support.
Meanwhile, NCMF-BMEA Director Saleha Sacar added that there will be sponsored iftar (food for breaking of the fast) in the event, “The Bazaar is free for the concessionaires and a 1,500 free iftar is a zadka from Department of Budget and Management Secretary Amenah Pangandaman”.
