Mas mababa ang naitatalang election-related violence incident ngayon kumpara sa kaparehong panahon sa mga nagdaang eleksyon.

Ayon kay COMELEC Chairman George Erwin Garcia, nakakatulong ang mga ginagawang peace covenant ng mga kandidato na may positibong epekto sa pangkalahatang sitwasyon ng kapayapaan at kaayusan.

Batay din sa kunsultasyon nila sa Philippine National Police ay wala pang mga lugar na dapat ilagay sa COMELEC control.
