Mahigit 1,200 dagdag na kawani ng UP-PGH, aprubado ng DBM

Madaragdagan na ng 1,224 na kawani ang University of the Philippines-Manila – Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH).

Ito ay matapos aprubayan ng Department of Budget and Management ang hiling UP-PGH na dagdag ang posisyon para sa medical, allied medical, at support staff.

Ayon kay Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, batay na rin ito sa utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. na mabigyan ng mahusay at maasahang serbisyo ang mga nangangailangan.

Sisimulan ang pagtanggap sa mga bagong kawani ng UP-PGH sa una at huling kwarter ng taong 2025, susundan sa taong 2026 at 2027.

Ang PGH ang pinakamalaking government tertiary hospital na may 1,334 bed capacity at nagseserbisyo sa libu-libong mga pasyente mula sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa. | ulat ni Don King Zarate
