Pagbaba ng inflation sa 1.8 % noong Marso 2025, welcome kay Finance Secretary Recto

Ikinalugod ni Finance Secretary Ralph G. Recto ang malaking pagbaba ng inflation sa 1.8% noong Marso 2025—ang pinakamababang antas mula nang magsimula ang pandemya.

Ayon kay Recto isa itong napakagandang balita, lalo na para sa ating mga konsyumer at negosyante at ginhawa para sa bawat Pilipino.

Aniya, patuloy ang gobyerno sa pagpapaigting, mahigpit na pagbabantay at maagap na mga hakbang upang mapanatili ang ganitong takbao na sa gitna ng “global uncertainties”.

Titiyakin anya ng DoF na mapanatili ang pagbawas sa presyo ng bilihin at maprotektahan ang “buying power” ng mga Pilipino.

Ang pagbaba ng inflation ay pangunahing dulot ng mas mabagal na pagtaas ng presyo ng pagkain s 2.3% mula sa 2.6% noong Pebrero 2025 at mga non-food items sa 1.4% mula sa 1.6%.

Isa sa mga pangunahing dahilan ng pagbaba ng inflation ay ang malaking pagbagsak ng presyo ng bigas, na bumaba ng 7.7% kumpara sa parehong panahon noong nakaraang taon. | ulat ni Melany Reyes
