Global leader sa larangan ng airport technology, tutulong sa modernisasyon ng NAIA—NNIC

Kinumpirma ng New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) na tutulong ang Collins Aerospace, isang global leader sa larangan ng airport technology, sa modernisasyon ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Ayon sa NNIC, bahagi ng modernisasyon ang advanced systems na magiging daan ng pag-streamline sa airport operations , na naaayon sa international aviation standards.

Kabilang dito ang pagkakaroon ng Common Use Passenger Processing System at Common Use Self-Service kiosks para sa check in at drop off luggage ng mga pasahero.

Magkakaroon na rin anila ng Biometric screening at maiiwasan na ang pagbusisi sa maraming dokumento ng mga pasahero.

Sinabi ni NNIC na nangangahulugan ito na magkakaroon ng full systems overhaul sa NAIA.

Sisimulan ang proyekto sa Mayo ng taong ito at makukumpleto sa September 2025. | ulat ni AJ Ignacio
