Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang suspensyon ni Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III.
Ito ang kinumpirma ni PCO Secretary Cheloy Velicaria -Garafil, ngayong gabi (October 9), sa gitna ng mga napaulat na korupsyon sa ilalim ng liderato nito.
Ang pahayag na ito ng kalihim ay makaraang isiwalat ng isang dating opisyal ng LTFRB ang talamak na korupsyon sa ahensya.
“President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has ordered the suspension of Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III amid reports of alleged corruption under his leadership.” —Secretary Garafil.
Ayon sa kalihim, hindi itu-tolerate ni Pangulong Marcos ang anumang katiwalian sa kaniyang administrasyon, at pinai-imbestigahan na rin ang mga alegasyong ito.
