Hiling ni Salceda kay Tourism Undersecretary Shireen Gail Pamintuan, ikonsidera ang pag-amyenda sa batas upang mabigyan din ng promotional incentives ang domestic tourists.
Partikular na aniya dito ang MICES o yung meetings, incentives, conferences at exhibitions sector.
βI understand that it is the MICES sector is the bulk tourism sector of the country. So, when you incentivize the MICES sector, you incentivize tourists wholesale. I am requesting the DOT to look into a more expansive definition of incentives for the domestic tourism sector,β saad ni Salceda.
