“We have only one lever of control among all the moving parts: government spending. We must spend more, spend wisely, and spend fast.” giit ni Salceda.
“As with last year, growth in government spending is the key overhang. Government spending grew by 6.2 percent in Q1 2023, but by just 1.7 percent in Q1 2024. That will come to bite us down the line, since earlier government spending means more welfare gains.” paliwanag ni Salceda. | ulat ni Kathleen Forbes
