Namataan ang tinatayang aabot sa 30 hinihinalang Chinese Maritime Militia (CMM) sa bahagi ng Sabina Shoal at Ayungin Shoal sa West Philippine Sea. 

Base sa impormasyon mula sa National Task Force – West Philippine Sea, 26 na Chinese Maritime Militia ang namataan sa bahagi ng Sabina Shoal matapos ang paglipad ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Cessna Caravan 2081 o Multi-Role Fixed Wing Aircraft, sa isinagawang Maritime Domain Awareness Flight. 

Namataan naman ang apat pang hinihinalang Chinese Maritime Militia sa bahagi ng Ayungin Shoal.

Nakatanggap naman ang PCG Cessna Caravan 2081 ng makailang-ulit na radyo mula sa radyo ng China Coast Guard.

Nagsagawa rin ng sariling radio challenge ang PCG para ipaalam sa China Coast Guardna nagsasagawa ito ng Maritime Domain Awareness Flight sa loob ng Exclusive Economic Zone ng Pilipinas at sabihan ang China Coast Guardna agad lisanin ang lugar. | ulat ni Paula Antolin
