Nagpaabot ng pasasalamat ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) sa pamahalaang lungsod ng General Santos sa paglalaan ng β‚±7.1-milyong tulong pinansyal sa Lagao Drivers Operators Transport Cooperative (LADOTRANSCO).

Ito ay para sa mga operator at tsuper na nais lumahok sa Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) ng pamahalaan.

Ayon kay LTFRB Chairperson Teofilo Guadiz III, malaking tulong ito upang mahikayat ang iba pang mga operator at tsuper na makiisa sa programa.

Partikular na makikinabang sa naturang assistance ang operators at drayber ng 71 units na sumali na sa naturang kooperatiba.

Bago ito, lumagda ang LADOTRANSCO at General Santos LGU sa isang kasunduan na nagtulak para sa pamimigay ng naturang Special Support Fund ng lungsod.   | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
