Binisita ni Department of Health (DOH) OIC Ma. Rosario Vergeire ang Correctional Institution for Women sa Mandaluyong City ngayong araw.

Ito’y kaalinsabay ng pagdiriwang ng Women’s Month tuwing buwan ng Marso.

Sa kaniyang pag-iikot, kinumusta niya ang ilang inmate na nakararanas ng problemang pang-kalusugan partikular ang mga may sakit na Cancer, Tuberculosis at iba pa.

Bukod dito, tiningnan din ni Vergeire ang ilang pasilidad na itinayo ng City Health Office na naghahatid ng serbisyong medikal tulad ng Dental, HIV, TB Ward, COVID-19 Vaccination gayundin ang Vaginal at Breast Examination.

Nagpasalamat naman si Vergeire sa Pamahalaang Lungsod, Department of Justice, Bureau of Corrections at Bureau of Jail Management and Penology sa maayos na pagtugon sa kalagayan ng mga inmate sa loob ng nasabing pasilidad. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
