Aabot na sa β‚±6.2-milyong halaga ng humanitarian assistance ang naipamahagi ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) sa mga pamilyang naapektuhan ng lindol sa Davao de Oro.

Bukod sa mga family food packs (FFPs) at iba pang non-food items (NFIs), tumanggap na rin ng financial assistance ang mga ito sa ilalim ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program.

Bumisita na rin si DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian sa lalawigan kahapon kung saan pinangunahan nito ang distribusyon ng financial aid at relief assistance sa mga apektadong residente.

Binisita rin nito ang ilang evacuation centers para madetermina ang iba pang tulong na maaaring kailanganin ng mga inilikas.
