Magtutulungan ang Philippine Army at Department of Agriculture sa pagtatanim ng isang milyong puno sa buong bansa bago matapos ang termino ng Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Ang proyekto ay inilunsad kahapon sa pamamagitan ng Memorandum of Agreement na nilagdaan ni Army Chief of Staff Major General Potenciano Camba at Department of Agriculture Senior Undersecretary Domingo Panganiban.

Bilang pangunang aktibidad, 126,000 fruit-bearing trees ang itinanim sa simultaneous tree-planting activity kahapon sa Fort Bonifacio at sa iba’t ibang kampo ng militar sa buong bansa.

Ang proyekto ay bilang pagsuporta sa environmental protection at food security programs ng Pangulong Marcos.

Bahagi rin ito ng pagdiriwang ng ika-126 anibersaryo ng Philippine Army na may temang Army@126: Strong, United, and Reliable. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
