Suportado ng Party-list Coalition Foundation Inc. (PCFI) ang pinagtibay na Resolution of Both Houses no. 6 na nagpapatawag ng Constitutional Convention o Con-Con para amyendahan ang 1987 Constitution.

Sa opisyal na pahayag ng PCFI, nakasaad na ang kanilang pagsuporta sa resolusyon ay mahalagang hakbang para umusad ang charter change at mabago ang restrictive economic provisions ng saligang batas.

Tinukoy ng 57-member coalition na kasalukuyang nasa 89th ranking ang Pilipinas sa 2023 Index of Economic Freedom Report mula sa kabuuang 176 na mga bansa.

“The decision of our bloc to support said resolution is an important step in generating discussions on the possible amendments to our 1987 Constitution, more particularly on its restrictive economic provisions that place the Philippines in rank 89 out of 176 countries on the The Heritage Foundation’s 2023 Index of Economic Freedom Report.” saad sa kalatas.

Bilang ang Saligang Batas ang fundamental law ng bansa ay marapat lamang anila na rebisahin ito upang makasabay sa nagbabagong panahon.

Nagpasalamat naman ang PCFI kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez sa paglulunsad ng mga diskusyon at pagpapatibay sa naturang resolusyon.
