Bagaman nag-anunsyo na ang grupong PISTON at MANIBELA na tapos na ang transport strike, nakaalerto pa rin ngayong araw ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority kasama (MMDA), ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), Department of Transportation (DOTr), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Office of Civil Defense (OCD), local government units (LGUs) at Philippine National Police (PNP).

Ito ay para tulungan ang mga pasahero kung sakali man na may ma-stranded at kung biglang magkaroon ng tigil-pasada.

Dito sa Commander Center sa MMDA, may mga tao pa rin na nakabantay sa mga kalsada sa Metro Manila.

Ngayong araw nakaabang ang 1,270 na mga sasakyan para sa libreng sakay mula sa MMDA, LGU, PNP, LTFRB, AFP, Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), at National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). | ulat ni Don King Zarate
