Walang naiulat na nasaktan sa 69 mga pasahero na lulan ng isang passenger vessel na nagkabanggaan sa isa pang barko na pagmamay-ari ng isang oil logistics kaninang umaga malapit sa pantalan ng lalawigan ng Negros Oriental.

Ito ang opisyal na ulat ng Philippine Coast Guard Station Negros Oriental.

Ayon sa impormasyon, ang MTKR Petro Helen ay papadaong sa Fil Oil Logistics Berthing space nang bumangga sa kaniya ang passenger vessel na LCT Bato Twin 1 dahil sa malakas na hampas ng hangin at malaking alon.

Nagtamo ng pinsala ang dalawang barko dahil dito.

Wala din namang iniulat na oil spill matapos ang insidente.
