Wala pa ring komunikasyon sa pagitan ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez at Negros Oriental 3rd District Representative Arnulfo “Arnie” Teves.

Sa statement na inilabas ng Office of the Speaker, nakasaad na wala pang natatanggap na anumang komunikasyon si Speaker Romualdez mula kay Teves, mula nang payuhan nito ang Negros Oriental solon na umuwi na ng bansa.

March 9 nang mapaso ang travel authority na ibinigay ng Kamara kay Teves para sa kanyang personal na biyahe sa Estados Unidos.

Dagdag pa ni Romualdez, nangako naman na ang pambansang pulisya na bibigyan ng proteksyon si Teves sakaling hilingin ito ng mambabatas.

Sa hiwalay na pahayag ng legal counsel ni Teves na si Atty. Ferdinand Topacio, sinabi nito na nais makausap ni Teves si Speaker Romualdez para maiparating ang mahalagang impormasyon.
