Pangungunahan ni Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Sec. Susan “Toots” Ople ang delegasyon ng Pilipinas sa ika-21 sesyon ng UN Committee on the Protection of the Rights of all Migrant Workers and Members of their Families sa Geneva, Switzerland.

Dito, ilalatag ni Ople ang mga ginawang pagtugon ng Pilipinas sa International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of their Families.

Sinabi ni Ople na kaniyang ilalatag ang one-country team approach sa migration governance gayundin ang ginawang pagtatag ng Pamahalaan sa kanilang Kagawaran.

Kabilang sa co-chair sa nasabing delegasyon sina Philippine Ambassador Evan Garcia bilang pinuno ng Philippine Mission sa Geneva at Undersecretary Severo Catura na siya namang Executive Director ng Presidential Human Rights Committee Secretariat.

Kasama ni Ople sa delegasyon ang mga senior official ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) at Office of the Court Administrator ng Korte Suprema gayundin ang Presidential Human Rights Committee Secretariat. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
