Pinabilis na ngayon ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang pagresolba sa mga kaso sa sektor ng transportasyon bilang hakbang kontra red tape.
Sa inilabas nitong Board Resolution No. 008 Series of 2023, binibigyang awtoridad na ang hepe ng Legal Division ng Board na pirmahan at aprubahan ang lahat ng mga utos o resolusyon para sa Inspection Report Summons Apprehension Cases na tinatanggap at hindi tinututulan ng mga respondent, maliban sa mga walang prangkisa o Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) o Evidence of Franchise na iprinisenta sa panahon ng panghuhuli.
Kabilang sa mga kasong pasok rito ang Colorum Violation, at Fraud and Falsities tulad ng pagpapakita ng peke at huwad na CPC, Official Receipt (OR) o Certificate of Registration (CR), plates, stickers at mga tag, na dating exempted.
Ayon sa LTFRB, ang desisyong isama ang Colorum at pekeng mga CPC sa listahan ng mga IRS apprehension case ay alinsunod sa Republic Act 11032 o ang “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.”
“We included colorum and fake CPCs in the list of IRS apprehension cases because the commuting public deserves it. By expanding the list of IRS apprehension cases, it also helps the Board reduce the level of case resolution backlogs for speedy delivery of service, which is what RA 11032 is all about,” pahayag ni LTFRB Chairman Atty.
