Kumpiyansa ang Special Task Force Degamo sa pangunguna ni Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjur Abalos na sa mga susunod na araw ay matutumbok na ang mastermind sa pagpatay kay Governor Roel Degamo kung saan may mga nadamay pang sibilyan.

Ayon kay PhilippineNational Police (PNP) Spokesperson PCol. Jean Fajardo, mahahalaga ang ibinibigay na impormasyon at mga ebidensya ng apat na nahuling suspek.

Sa ngayon pinaplantsa na lang ang mga nakuhang ebidensya.

Binuo ang Special Task Force Degamo base na rin sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na maresolba agad ang kaso.

May kanya-kanyang tinututukan ang task force na kinabibilangan ng DILG, PNP, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Department of Justice (DOJ), at National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) tulad ng pagkalap ng ebidensya, pagsasampa ng kaso, pagtugis sa mga nakatakas na suspek, at pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan sa lugar. | ulat ni Don King Zarate
