Development ng Maguindanao del Norte at Maguindanao del Sur, inaasahan na ng administrasyong Marcos Jr. kasunod ng pagtatalaga ng OIC ng probinsya

Itinalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. si Abdulraof Macacua at Bai Mariam Mangudadatu, bilang officers-in-charge ng bagong probinsya ng Maguindanao del Norte at Maguinadao del Sur.

Ayon kay PCO Secretary Cheloy Velicaria – Garafil, bilang OIC, inatasan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. si Macacua na panatilihin ang kapayapaan at stability sa rehiyon, para sa development pa ng kanilang lugar, at para na rin sa kanilang mamamayan.

“Maguindanao del Norte is composed of the municipalities of Barira, Buldon, Datu Blah Sinsuat, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Kabuntalan, Matanog, Northern Kabuntalan, Parang, North Upi, Sultan Kudarat, Sultan Mastura, and Talitay. Datu Odin Sinsuat is Maguindanao del Norte’s seat of government.” ayon kay Secretary Garafil.

Dahil sa appointment nito, naniniwala ang administrasyon na kaya at mayroong maaasahang lider ang Maguidanao del Norte.

Bukod sa appointment ng mga ito, itinalaga rin ng Pangulo sina Bai Fatima Ainee Limbona Sinsuat bilang OIC ng Office of the Vice-Governor ng Maguindanao del Norte, at Datu Nathaniel Sangacala Midtimbang, OIC ng Office of the Vice Governor ng Manguindanao del Sur.

“Both provinces will have corporate powers and general powers that include having a common seal and having the power to create its sources of revenue and to levy taxes, fees, and charges among others. According to the 2015 census, Maguindanao has a population of 1,173,933.” pahayag ni Secretary Garafil.
