Lady solon, pintitiyak ang agarang pagpasa ng panukalang magbabawal sa “No Permit, No Exam” policy

Umapela si Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar sa mga kasamahang kongresista na unahing ipasa ang panukalang magbabawal sa ‘No Permit, No Exam’ sa pagbabalik sesyon sa May 8.

Kasunod ito ng social media post ng ilang estudyante na kinailangan pang pumila ng hatinggabi para lamang makakuha ng examination permit.

Para sa kinatawan, hindi dapat hadlangan ang mga mag-aaral na makakuha ng pagsusulit dahil lamang hindi makabayad ng tuition o iba pang school fee sa tamang oras.

“Students should not be barred from taking exams due to their inability to pay tuition and other school fees at the time of their examinations. Hindi lang sa kolehiyo nangyayari ito ngayon kundi pati sa elementary at high school,” ani Villar.

Sa kasalukuyan, aprubado na sa ikalawang pagbasa ang House Bill 7584 na magpapahintulot sa mga mag-aaral na makakuha ng exam kahit hindi pa bayad basta’t may promissory note ito mula sa magulang o guardian.

Ang pagbabayad ay hindi naman dapat tumawid sa susunod na school year maliban na lamang kung pahihintulutan ng paaralan.
