AFP, susuporta sa PNP sa pagbuwag ng Private Armed Groups

Tiniyak ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Spokesperson Col. Medel Aguilar ang buong suporta ng militar sa Philippine National Police sa pagbuwag ng Private Armed Groups (PAG) sa bansa.

Ito’y para masiguro na magiging mapayapa at maayos ang darating na Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) sa Oktubre 30.

Ayon kay Aguilar, handa silang magdagdag ng pwersa sa mga rehiyon na may presensya ng PAGs kung hihingin ng PNP ang tulong nila.

Kaugnay nito, sinabi ni Aguilar na pinaigting narin ng militar ang kanilang counter-intelligence operations sa pag-monitor ng mga aktibidad ng mga dating sundalo.

May mga pagkakataon kasi aniya na nagagamit ang mga retirado at inalis na mga sundalong may “special skills” bilang mga miyembro ng PAG ng mga maimpluwensyang personalidad. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
