DSWD, umapela sa mga pamilya na maaapektuhan ng bagyong #BettyPH na magkusa nang lumikas

Nanawagan si Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistant Secretary Rommel Lopez sa mga maapektuhan ni super typhoon Betty na huwag nang hintayin ang sapilitang paglilikas.

Mas maigi na gawin na lamang nila ang kusang paglilikas kung batid nilang may peligro ang kanilang lugar.

Sa media forum, sinisiguro sa publiko ni Asec. Lopez ang kahandaan ng DSWD sa pagpasok ni super typhoon Betty.

Base sa tala, ang Roxas sa Palawan pa lamang ang naaasistehan ng DSWD matapos ang ginawang pre-emptive evacuation.

Umaasa sila na mula ngayon at sa mga susunod pang araw, madadagdagan pa ang mga pamilya na kanilang matutulungan.

Sa ngayon may P598-million standby funds ang DSWD, bukod pa ang P525-million quick response funds.
