Pinuri ni House Ways and Means Committee Chair Joey Salceda ang mataas na revenue collection ng Bureau of Internal Revenue at Bureau of Customs
Ayon kay Salceda, welcome development ang inaasahang P300.9 billion tax collection ng BIR para sa buwan ng Abril.
Nasa 25% aniya itong mas mataas kumpara sa koleksyon ng ahensya para sa kaparehong buwan noong nakaraang taon na nasa P239.6 billion.
Pinuri din ng House tax chief ang Customs na nahigitan ang pa ang kanilang April target collection.
Mula kasi sa P68.19 billion target collection ay naka-kolekta ang BOC ng P68.273 billion o 0.11% na mas mataas.
Patunay aniya na sa kabila ng mga kondisyong panlabas na maaaring maka-apekto sa ating ekonomiya ay nagdodoble kayod ang naturang mga ahensya para makakolekta ng ‘lifeblood’ ng ating gobyerno.
