Kahandaan ng disaster relief fund para sa Super Typhoon Mawar, tiniyak ng pamahalaan

Siniguro ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ang kahandaan ng disaster relief fund ng bansa, upang tugunan ang iiwang epekto sa Pilipinas ng Super Typhoon Mawar.

Ayon kay DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, nasa Php18.3 billion ang available na calamity fund ng gobyerno.

Kasama na dito ang Php 1.5 billion mula sa budget noong 2022, na maaari pang magamit para sa disaster relief operations, hanggang sa katapusan ng 2023.

Base sa datos ng DBM, mula Enero nitong taon, hanggang sa kasalukuyan, nasa Php3.9 billion na calamity fund na ang nailabas ng DBM.

Pagtitiyak ng kalihim, handa ang national government na ibigay ang lahat ng kakailanganing suporta para sa disaster rescue at relief operations kaakibat ang kinakailangang budget.
