Ikinalugod ng House of Representatives ang nakuhang pasasalamat mula kay Pang. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr matapos mapagtibay sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ang isa sa kaniyang LEDAC priority bill.
Sa pagbubukas ng Pier 88 sa Liloan, Cebu nitong Sabado, binigyang diin ni PBBM ang kahalagahan ng National Land Use Act na siyang magiging gabay ng national at local government sa pagpapatupad ng mga proyekto.
Kasamang dumalo sa pagtitipon si House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
“I thank the House of Representatives for its timely and significant action in having approved their version of this bill on third reading just a few days ago,” saad ni Pang. Marcos Jr.
Ayon sa chief executive, bibigyang importansya ng kaniyang administrasyon ang pagpapasa sa panukala na aniya’y mahalaga para sa pagkamit ng holistic national development.
“…allow me to reiterate the urgency of enacting a [National] Land Use Policy for our country, which is a priority legislative agenda of this Administration….This time, we will see to it that this measure shall be given [the] urgent attention that it deserves, cognizant of its fundamental importance to our holistic national development.” Dagdag ni PBBM.
