Iniutos na ni Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Rizalino Acuzar ang activation ng mga local shelter cluster team sa mga lugar na inaasahang tatamaan ng super typhoon Mawar.
Bahagi ito ng preparedness measure ng ahensya upang masiguro ang kahandaan ng kanilang Regional Offices (ROs) sa pagkakaloob ng kaukulang tulong sa mga maaapektuhan ng bagyo.
Sa inilabas nitong memorandum order, partikular na inatasan ang mga regional directors sa Regions 4A, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 at BARMM na mag-convene ng kanilang shelter clusters para imonitor ang sitwasyon kung may pangangailangan ng emergency shelter.
“Per instruction of Secretary Acuzar, we have discussed the needs and actions to take knowing that this is a super typhoon. As part of our functions during calamities, close coordination with other concerned agencies is being intensified led by our regional personnel,” pahayag ni DHSUD Undersecretary Lyle Filomeo Pasco.
Kaugnay nito, inatasan rin ang mga regional shelter cluster na mangasiwa ng emergency response at humanitarian assistance para sa mga maaapektuhang lugar.
Tinukoy naman ng ahensya na may mga katuwang itong eksperto para maghatid ng
real-time reports at makatulong sa kanilang agarang pag-aksyon.
