Handang-handa na ang Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines sa posibleng epekto ni Super Typhoon “Mawar”.

Sa pagtaya ng PAGASA, ang Super Typhoon “Mawar” ay posibleng pumasok sa Philippine Area of Responsibility sa araw ng Biyernes (May 25) o Sabado (May 26).

Ayon kay CAP Spokesperson Eric Apolonio, nagkaroon na ng mga pagpupulong bilang paghahanda at ininspeksyon ang mga paliparan na posibleng daanan ni Mawar kabilang na sa Ilocos Region at Cagayan Valley.

Sa tuwing magkakaroon ng ganitong sama ng panahon, mayroon na silang procedure na sinusunod, tulad ng pag-secure sa communications equipment at tower ng mga paliparan.
