Kinumpirma ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) na matatanggap na ng government personnel ang kanilamg mid-year bonus, simula ika-15 ng Mayo.
“I am happy to announce that our civil servants will be receiving their mid-year bonus this year, as provided in the agency-specific allocation under the 2023 General Appropriations Act or GAA. Alam naman po natin na isa ito sa mga inaabangan ng ating mga kapwa kawani ng gobyerno na talagang makatutulong sa kanilang araw-araw na pangangailangan,” ani Secretary Pangandaman.
Ayon kay DBM Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, pinapaalalahanan na nila ang lahat ng tanggapan ng pamahalaan na tumalima sa napapanahong pagri-release ng pondo ng mga empleyado, lalo’t malaking tulong ito sa pang araw – araw na pangangailangan.
“So, we are reminding all government agencies and offices to ensure the timely release of bonuses to their employees or as stipulated in our existing rules and regulations, simula May 15 po ‘yan,” paalala ni Secretary Pangandaman.
Ang mid-year bonus ng government employees ay katumbas ng isang buwan na basic pay as of May 15, at dapat na matanggap ng personnel na nakapag-rendered na ng hindi bababa sa apat na buwang serbisyo mula July 1, 2022 hanggang May 15, 2023.
“The personnel shall also remain to be in the government service as of May 15 of the current year and has obtained at least a satisfactory performance rating in the immediately preceding rating period or the applicable performance appraisal period.” saad ni Secretary Pangandaman.
Ang bonus na ito ay matatanggap ng lahat ng posisyon, mapa-regular man, casual, contractual, appointive or elective, full-time or part-time, sa ilalim ng Executive, Legislative, at Judicial branches ng pamahalaan, ganun rin para sa GOCCs, SUCs, LGUs, AFP, at Compensation and Position Classification System (CPCS).
“The grant of mid-year bonuses for personnel of covered GOCCs shall be determined by their respective governing boards. Furthermore, the grant of the mid-year bonus to personnel of provinces, cities, municipalities, and barangays shall be determined by their respective sanggunian.” pahayag ni Secretary Pangandaman.
