Northern Luzon Command, handa na sa bagyong Mawar

Nakahanda na ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) sa pagpasok sa bansa ng Typhoon Mawar.

Ayon kay AFP NOLCOM Commander Lieutenant General Fernyl Buca, pinatitiyak niya sa mga Commander ng iba’t ibang Joint Task Force sa ilalim ng NOLCOM ang kahandaan ng kanilang mga tauhan at maging mga reservist na tumugon sakaling kailanganin ng publiko.

Paliwanag ni Buca, bawat Joint Task Force ng NOLCOM ay mayroong disaster response units na maaaring i-activate at i-deploy sa panahon ng kalamidad.

Patuloy aniya ang koordinasyon ng NOLCOM sa Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (RDRRMC), Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) at iba pang stakeholders sa paghahanda ng mga hakbang at contingency plan sa bagyo.

Tiniyak din ni Buca sa publiko na handa silang magpaabot ng tulong tulad ng pagtugon sa sakuna at relief work para mabawasan ang pinsalang maaaring idulot ng paparating na bagyo. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
