OCD, nagpadala na ng water filtration units sa Cagayan province

Dalawang water filtration units ang ipinadala ng Office of Civil Defense (OCD) at National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) sa Cagayan province.

Ayon kay OCD/NDRRMC Asec. Raffy Alejandro, kabilang ito sa mga paghahanda na ginagawa ng pamahalaan para matulungan na magkaroon ng usable water ang mamamayan sa panahon ng pananalasa ng Super Typhoon #BettyPH.

Ang mga equipment ay may kakayahang mag-filter ng 20,000 liters ng tubig kada araw.

Nagdeploy na rin ng satellite phones at VSAT ang OCD sa lalawigan na magagamit kahit bumagsak ang komunikasyon doon.

Sinabi pa ni Alejandro na may 12,000 personnel ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa buong bansa ang nakaalerto at nakahanda na sa deployment.

Bukod pa ang 1,000 PNP, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) at Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) personnel na nakaalerto na sa Region 2 sa Northern Luzon.

Bukod dito, nakahanda na rin ang transportation assets ng OCD na magagamit sa pagbiyahe ng iba’t ibang asset at resources kasama non-food items sa mga lugar na maapektuhan ng bagyo. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
