Inatasan ni Philippine National Police o PNP Chief, P/Gen. Benjamin Acorda Jr ang Police Regional Office – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region o BAR na tiyakin ang seguridad ng mga taga-Marogong, Lanao del Sur.

Ito’y matapos magsilikas ang mga residente roon nitong weekend kasunod ng kumalat na balitang lulusubin ng teroristang Dawlah Islamiyah ang nasabing lugar.

Ayon kay Acorda, patuloy nilang tinututukan ang nasabing lugar at nakikipag-ugnayan na rin sila sa Armed Forces of the Philippines o AFP hinggil dito.

Sa katunayan, nagdagdag na sila ng tropa mula sa Provincial Mobile Force Company ng Lanao del Sur para bantayan ang lugar at mapigilan ang anumang tangkang pag-atake ng mga terrorista.

Bagaman may ulat na dumoble pa ang mga nagsilikas na pamilya sa nasabing lugar, takot na matulad ang kanilang lugar sa Marawi City na kinubkob ng mga terrorista noong 2017, sinabi ni Acorda na may ulat silang natatanggap na may nag-uuwian na. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
