Kinumpirma ng Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) na isang 77-taong gulang na residente ang nasawi mula sa sunog na sumiklab sa isang residential area sa bahagi ng Brgy. Balumbato, Camachile, Quezon City.

Ayon sa BFP, na-recover ang labi ng babaeng senior sa isinagawang search and retrieval operations matapos na unang mapaulat na nawawala ang ginang.

Wala naman nang naitalang nasugatan pa kasunod ng insidente.

Nagpapatuloy naman ang imbestigasyon sa sunog na umabot sa ikaapat na alarma bago tuluyang naapula.

Sinabi ng BFP na nahirapan itong kontrolin ang sunog dahil sa dikit-dikit ang mga bahay na karamihan ay gawa sa light materials.
