Service fees para sa online payment channels at over-the-counter transactions, binawasan ng SSS

Inanunsyo ng Social Security System (SSS) ang pagbawas sa service fees na sinisingil ng SSS-accredited collecting banks, at remittance at transfer companies.

Sinabi ni SSS President at Chief Executive Officer Rolando Ledesma Macasaet, ang pass-on service fees ay nilimitahan na lang sa ₱8 kada transaksyon para sa online payment channels at ₱10 para sa over-the-
counter payment.

Sakop ng ibinabang service fees ang monthly contribution payments ng self-employed at voluntary members, Overseas Filipino Workers , magsasaka at mangingisda at non-working spouses.

Nalalapat din ang bagong alituntunin sa mga pagbabayad ng kontribusyon ng mga nagtatrabahong miyembro ng SSS para sa Worker’s Investment and Savings Program (WISP) Plus.

Bago ang bagong guidelines, naniningil ang mga bangko ng pass-on service fee ng SSS members ng hanggang ₱25 kada transaksyon habang ang mga remittance at transfer companies ay naniningil ng hanggang ₱15 kada transaksyon.
