DOT, nakiisa sa pagdiriwang ng World Ocean Day

Nakiisa ang Department of Tourism sa pagdiriwang ng World Ocean Day ngayong araw.

Sa mensahe ni Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco, sinabi nito na mahalaga ang pangmatagalang proteksyon ng yaman para sa kapakanan ng ating planeta at mga susunod na henerasyon.

Sinabi rin ng Kalihim na pinagpala ang Pilipinas pagdating sa mga nakakamanghang tanawin, pambihirang marine-life at mayamang cultural heritage.

Ayon pa kay Frasco, ang mga karagatan ng bansa ay hindi lamang pinagmumulan ng kahanga-hangang kagandahan kundi pati na rin ang kabuhayan ng milyon-milyong Pilipino.

Nakatuon ang DOT sa mandato nito na pangalagaan ang mga tourist spot sa bansa habang tinitiyak nito na hindi malilimutan at magiging makabuluhan ang paglalakbay ng mga turista sa Pilipinas. | ulat ni Gab Humilde Villegas
