Pinapurihan ni House Ways and Means Chair Joey Salceda ang pagtugis ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) sa mga sangkot sa paggamit ng ghost receipts para makatakas sa pagbabayad ng buwis.
Ito’t matapos mag hain ng kaso ang ahensya sa pangunguna ni BIR Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr. laban sa tatlong kompanya na may P18billion tax liability dahil sa paggamit ng ghost receipts.
“I commend Commissioner Romeo Lumagui Jr. for his aggressive campaign to stamp out large-scale tax fraud. The BIR filed one of its largest tax liability cases with the Department of Justice today. It signals a commitment to run after big-time tax evaders.” ani Salceda
Ipinapakita lamang aniya nito na hindi na lang aniya ito simpleng tax evasion ngunit isa nang economic sabotage dahil sa tahasang pag labag sa tax laws ng bansa.

Bunsod nito mas lalo aniyang napapanahon na pagtibayin ang House Bill No. 8144, o Anti-Tax Racketeering Act.
Ang tax racketeering ay ang krimen kung saan pinagsama-sama ang magkaka-ugnay na paraan upang maiwasan o matakasan ang dapat na bayarang buwis na ang halaga ay P10 milyong pataas gamit ang mga pekeng resibo, rekord at iba pang dokumento.
