Ipinag-utos ni PNP Chief Police General Benjamin Acorda Jr. ang pag-inspeksyon sa lahat ng kulangan ng PNP para masiguro na napapangalagaan ang karapatan ng mga ikinulong.

Ang utos ng PNP Chief ay kasunod ng pagkakaaresto ng Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG) nitong Biyernes sa pitong pulis, kasama ang kanilang hepe, sa Angeles City, Pampanga matapos nilang ikulong ang 13 indibidwal na wala namang kaso at hiningan pa ng pera.

Ayon kay Gen. Acorda, hindi nila kukunsintihin ang mga maling gawain ng mga pulis, kasama na rito ang pagkukulong sa mga tao na walang basehan at pangingikil sa mga ito.

Inatasan naman ni Gen. Acorda ang lahat ng mga City at Provincial Director na mag-inspeksyon at alamin ang aktibidad ng kanilang mga tauhan.

Kaugnay nito, inatasan din ng PNP Chief ang The Chief of Directoral Staff (TCDS) na isama sa basehan ng promosyon kung pabaya ang mga City at Provincial Directors sa kanilang mga custodial facility. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
