Manila International Airport Authority, tiniyak na ligtas ang istruktura ng NAIA mula sa banta ng lindol

Tiniyak ng Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) na ligtas pa rin ang istruktura ng mga terminal ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), matapos ang nangyaring Magnitude 6.3 na lindol kahapon.

Ayon kay MIAA Officer-in-Charge Bryan Co, may tolerance ang mga gusali ng NAIA mula sa pagyanig at ito ay sumusunod sa Building Code of the Philippines.

Dagdag pa ng opisyal, na may mga nakakalat na sensors sa loob ng paliparan upang agad malaman ng mga safety officer kung kinakailangan bang lumikas.

Sinabi rin ng opisyal, na Intensity 5 ang naramdamang lindol sa loob ng paliparan kung saan hindi nila kinailangang ilikas ang mga pasahero at mga kawani ng paliparan matapos ang pagyanig. | ulat  ni Jaymark Dagala
