“I look forward to substantive discussions on how we as a collective global community can ensure peace, stability, and prosperity in the region; as well as promote sustainable economic growth and enhance regional resilience, with a focus on energy and food security, among others,” saad ni Romualdez sa kaniyang mensahe.

“We still have ways to go and we will look to partners like the Republic of Korea and those present today in improving these initiatives, and in working together to make sure that the geopolitical challenges of today do not undermine the possible gains of our future. We hope this forum can serve as a bridge to connect the Philippines and the rest of the Southeast Asian region closer to our Asian and international partners,” saad ni Romualdez.

Sinamantala na rin ng House Speaker na ipaabot ang pagbati kay Kim Jin-pyo, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea (ROK) sa matagumpay na pagbubukas ng naturang forum. | via Kathleen Jean Forbes
