Nasa 100,000 plastic cards para sa driver’s licence, target na mai-deliver ng bagong supplier sa katapusan ng Hulyo, ayon sa LTO

Target na mabigyan ng driver’s license plastic cards ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang mga bagong aplikante.

Ito ang pahayag ni LTO chief Atty. Hector Villacorta matapos maibigay sa Banner Plastic Cards Inc. ang kontrata para sa 5.2 milyon na plastic cards.

Ayon kay Villacorta, pinalawig naman ng ahensya ang validity ng driver’s license na mapapaso simula April 24 hanggang October 31.

Tiniyak din ng opisyal na pagdating ng Oktubre o kapag napaso na ay magiging available na ang plastic cards at walang dapat bayaran ang mga may hawak na papel na lisensya.

Nasa 100,000 plastic cards ang target na mai-deliver ng Banner Plastic Cards Inc. sa katapusan ng Hulyo at isang milyon naman sa August 26.

Dagdag pa ni Villacorta, ang National Capital Region, Calabarzon, at Cebu ang prayoridad na mabigyan ng plastic card dahil sa dami ng mga nag-aaply.| ulat ni Daine Lear
